Apple milk pudding

Apple milk pudding
Ingredients:
1. Milk 2 cups
2. Apple 1/4 cup chopped
3. Cornflour 2 tblspn
4. Egg yolk of 2 eggs
5. Honey 2 tblspn
6. Sugar 1/2 cup
7. Vanilla essence 1/2 tspn
Method:
Mix together cornflour and egg yolk adding little milk. Pour milk in a saucepan and start heating over a medium high heat. Stir it continuously, don't let the milk boil. When the milk is slightly hot, add sugar stir well and let the sugar dissolve completely. When milk become just about to boil add cornflour mixture.
Simmer the flame to the lowest before adding cornflour. stir continuously till the milk thickens. When the milk gets thick, switch off the flame. Add vanilla essence and mix well. Let this cool down to room temperature.
Now, layer the pudding to the pudding bowl. Add apple pieces as first layer, add honey, then add the milk mixture as top layer.
Cover the bowls with plastic wrap / aluminium foil and refrigerate for 2 hours. And serve chill.
